HISTORY
My business was officially founded in November 2022, but the journey began long before that. For five years prior, I had been working on projects on the side while gaining experience in the construction industry—a field I’ve been a part of since I was 17 years old. I always knew I wanted to work for myself, but taking the leap required leaving a well-paying job that didn’t align with my true passion.
Now, just two years later, the business has grown to a team of four employees, and we continue to expand, providing high-quality work and exceptional service to our clients.

Our mission is to build with purpose—creating structures that will stand the test of time while providing for my family and the families of my employees. Every project we take on is a reflection of our dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and long-term impact.
What sets us apart is our determination. We are an underdog story—building this business from the ground up while competing with long-established companies in the area. As one of the few Black-owned construction companies in the region, we take pride in breaking barriers and proving that hard work, integrity, and skill can carve out a place in this industry.

THE DIFFERENCE
Tovi is a hardworking, dedicated, and reliable family man who takes pride in his integrity and strong work ethic. Born and raised in Burlington, Iowa, he was brought up by his mother, Cindy Chalupa. After graduating from Burlington High School, he explored trade school before fully committing to a career in construction.
Fatherhood has been a central part of Tovi’s life since the age of 20, and he cherishes every moment with his three children—Quinci, Mylo, and Maecyn.
When he’s not working, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, engaging in outdoor activities like swimming, camping, kayaking, and cycling. He also has a passion for personal fitness, board games with his kids, and riding motorcycles.
Tovi’s dedication to both his work and family reflects his values of perseverance, honesty, and commitment—qualities that drive his success in both life and business.
